I’m a fan of using the screen command. I’ve written a tutorial and have supplied my configuration files : http://drop.biffsocko.com/screen.html. It looks and has a lot of the same features that tumx has (with my configuration). Then along came tmux. The below tutorial is a great way to get started. I’d recommend using tmux over screen since it’s the new product and a lot of admins are moving in that direction.
