I’ve been getting into hyperrealism and photorealism Art. I’ve always appreciated the amazing talent that goes into these compositions – but instead of just stumbling across it and saying “Wow – that’s amazing”, I’m seeking it out and hopefully will get a chance to see some in person – I haven’t yet – just what I’ve come across on the Internet.
Casey Childs – I guess would be a prime example of a hyperrealist artist. The fundamental contrast between Hyperrealism and Photorealism is in the artist’s approach to their work. Hyperrealism is about something more than technique. While photorealists distance themselves from adding emotion and intent into their work, hyperrealism artists insert narration and feelings into their paintings. When I see some of the compositions by Casey Childs, I can see emotion in the subject. It makes me stare at it – and the more I look the more I see.
There is so much talent in the world. People are simply amazing to me.
