I’m a huge fan of three day weekends.
On Saturday we went to the LI Ducks Game, featuring Gucci fireworks after the show. We kicked the Bridgeport Bluefish’s butts 15 to 5.
On Sunday we shot out to Greenport LI for the Greenport Tall Ship Festival. The town closed down a number of streets for outdoor music, cold beers and dancing. We had a really great time.
On Monday we figured we’d explore some of the beaches on the North Shore, we typically go to the South Shore, but we found a few great ones on the North side of the Island that we’ll absolutely go back to visit. First there was the West Meadow Beach (check out the pictures), a low key family kind of beach; then there was Cedar Beach. At Cedar Beach, we found the Cedar Beach Bar and Grill. It was fantastic. Cold drinks and good food overlooking the beach. I can’t wait to go back, it has great party potential.
