moving in three weeks

Welp, our time in our cozy little co-op is nearly up. It’s a bit bittersweet. I’ll really miss the place, but its time to move on. Since our house hunt failed, we’re putting most of our stuff into storage and we’ve picked up a one bedroom apt. to put our feet up in for the next few months. The house hunt will begin again in mid January when we return from Florida.
The apartment we’re moving into is fairly large, and a fast commute to Manhattan. Since we’re going to be moving again in a few months I decided to pick up the MagicJack. I’ve seen it on TV and a friend of mine actually has one and likes it very much. It’s an opportunity to check out the product, and if it’s good we’ll just take it with us. It beats paying $30 - $40 a month for a phone line I hardly ever use. I wanted to get Verizon Fios for Internet and TV, but its not available yet in the building we’re moving to *sigh*.
I guess the next items on our list of things to do is to find movers, cancel the cable and telephone service, notify con-ed, arrange to have cable and internet installed at the new place, forward our mail at the post office, and tell all the banks and credit cards that we’re moving. *whew* that’s a lot of work.
